Synopsis:
After the death of her 102-year-old great-grandmother during BLM protests, Emma seeks advice from her three friends about Black motherhood. Their words, paired with montaged family archive, create a film that examines the lines between racial violence, resilience, and afrofutures.

Emma Morgan-Bennett is a filmmaker from Washington Heights, NY. She holds a particular interest in questions surrounding visual media, race, reproduction, and apocalypse. Awarded the Marshall Scholarship (2020), she is currently pursuing a MA in Digital Media at Goldsmiths.
