Jenn Harris is an award-winning director/writer, actress, and producer. Her series NEW YORK IS DEAD premiered at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival, won Best Comedy at the New York Television Festival and Jenn won Best Actress at SeriesFest Denver. Her short film "Island Queen", starring Rachel Dratch and Jesse Tyler Ferguson, played several prestigious festivals in 2020 including The San Francisco Film Festival and Inside Out Toronto. Jenn has freelanced with Conde Nast Entertainment, created content for VR with Double Eye Studios where they won the Lion at the 2020 Venice Film Festival for Best VR Immersive User Experience with “Finding Pandora X”, and wrote the comedy “My Name is Karen!” for Theaterworks Hartford. Her downtown parody group QWAN had SWAN! as a critics’ pick in the New York Times and Time Out NY and was also deemed “Lowbrow/Brilliant” in New York Magazine’s “Approval Matrix”. As an actor in New York, Jenn is known for originating the role of Clarice Starling in "Silence! The Musical" and she won a Lortel and Theatre World award for her performance in "Modern Orthodox". Some film and television credits include: "High Maintenance", "Search Party", "30 Rock", "Gayby" (SXSW 2012), "Difficult People", "Younger", "Bored to Death", "Fits and Starts"(SXSW 2017), "Modern Persuasion"(Cannes Virtual Market 2020), "American Reject" and the soon to be released untitled Jeffrey Wright film. Jenn is also a Professor at USD where she teaches Theatre & Society, Acting III and Acting for the Camera with the MFA program.
