Hartung: Not for Sale
Dir. Patrick Troll
Profile of Mike Hartung, an outsider artist in Lindsborg, Kansas whose work shines light on the beauty in grotesque spaces. “I am disrupting my peaceful retirement by still painting," he says in the film. "It’s all I ever wanted to do. In an odd way, I look on myself as a writer who only has a paintbrush as a vocabulary.”
Presented by the National Endowment for the Arts and Kansas Creative Arts Industries Commission.
