Contrariety (2021) is a narrative short film about a man who has lost his sense of identity and descends into an addictive spiral of abuse in search of himself.

Natalie Shinnick - Writer, Director, Actor

Natalie Shinnick is an actress, director, writer, and choreographer. After graduating from New York University ~ Tisch School of the Arts, Natalie has worked on many productions in film and on stage. Some of her notable stage productions include Henry V portraying Henry V, The Crucible portraying Elizabeth, and Anatomy of a Suicide in which she portrayed Carol. She is currently on set in Rome, Italy shooting a feature film directed by Francesco Cinquemani. Natalie is making her directorial debut with her upcoming short film, Contrariety, which she also wrote and starred in.

Sebastiano Pigazzi - Writer, Director, Actor

Sebastiano Pigazzi is an American actor born to Italian parents. He started acting after falling in love with old classics like Citizen Kane and La Dolce Vita. Upon graduating from New York University, Sebastiano attended The Beverly Hills Playhouse to continue his study of acting. You can catch him on HBO portraying Enrico, in Luca Guadagnino’s show, We Are Who We Are and on an upcoming documentary, Pompeii - Eros e Mito starring Isabella Rossellini. He is now set to star in an upcoming film called Time Is Up directed by Elisa Amoruso with Bella Thorne. Sebastiano is making his directorial debut with his upcoming short film, Contrariety, which he also wrote and starred in.
