For the past five years, our small team of volunteers has loved bringing film and visitors to Emporia—but life is moving fast for all of us, and we can no longer devote the necessary time and energy that it takes to put on a quality festival. To that end, we have made the difficult decision to step away from No Coast Film Fest and discontinue the festival for the time being. Should circumstances change, you just may see us again in the future.

Thank you to the filmmakers who trusted us with their stories, both deeply personal and wildly inventive — we have seen some truly stellar shorts in this year's submissions, and we know they'll go on to find fantastic homes at other festivals. Thank you to the audiences who came out year after year to support the filmmakers and our team; it means more to us than you know. Finally, thank you to Emporia and the myriad organizations and small businesses that helped us put on the best festival we could.

 

Submissions are now closed. If you have already submitted your film for consideration, please be assured we have begun processing refunds (in batches as allowed by our bank) and the amount should be credited back to you in a few days.
